Preparing for Your counselling: To prepare for counselling, reflect on your reasons for seeking help, set clear goals, and write down questions or key topics to discuss, like your history or desired outcomes, ensuring you feel comfortable and ready to be open about your experiences in a non-judgmental space, remembering it's a collaborative process. Practical steps include arriving early, taking notes, and being honest at your own pace, as your therapist is there to support you, not pressure you.
